The Great Globe is a 1:100,000 scale model of the earth to be constructed in the southwest United States. Over 10 million 4” triangular tiles will cover this rotating 420 ft diameter globe. Millions of children from around the world will research, computer model, and fabricate these 3D color tiles of the Earth’s surface. Every natural and manmade feature on Earth larger than 30 ft. will be viewable on the surface of the model.

The Great Globe will encourage the children of the world to embrace science, math, and engineering as well as introduce them to the concept of viewing Earth as a connected global community. The Globe will serve as a powerful tool with which to raise awareness, foster collaboration, and create solutions for the many issues facing our global community including environmental sustainability, poverty, hunger, and disease.

Share The Well is proud to partner with The Great Globe foundation to assist in making this amazing project a reality. We are serving a number of functions for the project including website design, online strategy and brand development as well as serving as the primary point of contact for non-profit organizations wanting to partner with The Great Globe to raise awareness and solve global issues.

As children research their respective sections of the earth, they will be able to discover what particular social, economic, and health challenges exist in their part of the world in addition to the scientific discovery that has been the core principle of the Great Globe project from its inception. Share The Well will assist in building the web portal where these children access and build their virtual tiles and connect with a global support network of scientists, engineers, previous program graduates, and philanthropists.

If you would like more information about the project, are interested in working with us, or if you are a non-profit organization interested in partnering with The Great Globe to raise awareness for your cause, please contact:
