Overview

The Orange Project was started to create real-life change in the lives of homeless individuals in Central Phoenix. Our goal is to assist the homeless community, solve problems, and fill in the gaps between homelessness and the re-establishment of residence and employment. We will work in conjunction with existing organizations and agencies to establish a plan with defined goals and milestones against a timeline for each project participant.

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me."

"Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?"

"I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me."

- Matthew 25:35-40 NIV

The mission of the Orange Project is to facilitate a transformational experience in the lives of the homeless individuals who choose to participate as well as those who volunteer to support, serve, and mentor them. We believe that together we can make a significant difference with efficient and disciplined programs that are founded in a fundamental love for humanity, compassion, and grace.
